Collaboration
Collaboration has been available since JUDE/Professional 3.0.4.
Using Collaboration with JUDE/Server brings an useful facilitation for Development Team. JUDE/Server manages project files unitary in repository so each members can work on shared models on local area. Collaboration Guide (PDF 1,188KB)
You must have JUDE/Server (Free) to use Collaboration.
The capabilities of the Collaboration depends on functions and performances capacities of the Server Machine. Go to Note on JUDE/Server Use for detail.

Overview

Using Collaboration with JUDE/Server helps development teams by enabling them to share models among their team members. Collaboration enables team to save edited data in the Server and also in Local file so one can merged the data edited in Local to the server data so each members can work on shared models. Project Management

Add/Delete Projects and also Manage Permission/Manage Lock for each projects.

Set Log-in users for each project package and also give permissions (full or read) for each group individually.

Lock/unlock for per Package to prevent unrequested project meetings. Project Control2

User Management

Add/Edit/Delete Users.

Set the permissions indivisually for each project package by using [Manage Permission] and [Manage Lock].

Add/Edit/Delete Groups.

Set the permissions indivisually for each project package by using [Manage Permission], [Manage Lock] and [User Management].

Login Server/Logout from Server/Project Management/User Management/Group Management/Server backup

Save backup data into selected folder manually and restore from backup easily.

SOAP and SSL are supported on the communication between Server and Clients.
So models can be safely shared on the internet.

Check in

Store Projects/Packages on the server.
[Check in]
Ability to Check in per Package. You can add comments every time checking in then you can see those comments on [Project History].
[Version]
In package when a data is modified, it will have a version and be displayed in Property view. So clients can see which data has been modified the last.
[Modified Model]
The models have been modified by Clients will be shown in red in Client Tree.
[Lock]
One can check Lock Mode status in Client Tree.
Check In

Check Out

Updates Projects/Packages from Server.

Ability to check out per Package. If there are any differences between Client models and Server models when checking out, they are shown in the conflict list and you can select which data to overwrite on the another per selected elements.

Project History

Ability to see Project History of all modified models.

Ability to see the Project History per Package by obtaining the exported log in the server from clients.
[Comment]
Add comments when adding a new projects and each time checking in.
[Modified Model]
Date, Package, Name, Type, Version, User, Status are shown in a list.
