End Of Life and support for JUDE products
Support and download of each product end 3 years later from the release date of its first version (the first decimal place). Technical support and download of following product versions will be discontinued on April 30th, 2012. JUDE/Professional 5.5.x, JUDE/Share 1.1.

Download & Install

  1. How do I install JUDE/Share?

    1. Login to ChangeVision Members and download an archive file (.zip) of JUDE/Share.
    2. Extract the archive file (.zip)

  2. Installing JUDE/Share fails. What should I do?

    Installing JUDE/Share may fail when you are logged in as a normal user (non-administrator user). Please log in as an Administrator who is entitled to install software on the computer, and then install JUDE/Share. Go to see [Start] - [Control Panel] - [User Accounts] to check your administrator level.
  3. The server machine has crashed. How can I re-install JUDE/Share?

    1. Log in to ChangeVision Members and download and install JUDE/Share again.
    2. Reissue your License Key file (See I lost my license key file (.xml). How can I reissue it?)
    3. Save your license key file at "JUDE_Share\data", and then launch JUDE/Share.

JUDE/Share License Registration

  1. What are the steps do I do to use licensed JUDE/Share?

    1. Login to ChangeVision Members.
      If you are not signed up yet, register with ChangeVision Members service. (Login is required to register the JUDE/Share Server License)
    2. Download and install JUDE/Share.
    3. Now you are able to use JUDE/Share as Free Edition (Free), you are allowed to upload .jude files (up to two files) and use them on JUDE/Share to experience and see how it works.
    4. Purchase JUDE/Share Server License
      Purchase JUDE/Share Server License from one of our distributors. You will receive License Number and Validation Code of your License.
    5. Issue a License Key
      Log in to ChangeVision Members. Go to [License Registration] and input your License number and Validation Code.

      Enter License number and Validation code.
    6. License information will be displayed. Please make sure all content(e-mail address and license information) is correct. And, press [Register License] button.
    7. License registration is completed and e-mail is sent to you.
    8. Open the e-mail you received from us. (The e-mail title should be "[info] astah* share license") Access the URL described in the e-mail to download your license key file.
    9. Launch astah* share and log in as astah* share Administrator, then click [Managemet] icon on header, press [License Management] Tab, specify your licensekey file.
  2. How can I register JUDE/Share Server License and set it up to JUDE/Share?

    You can enlarge images if you click on them.
    1. Login to ChangeVision Members and click gLicense Registrationh button.

    2. Enter your License Number and Validation Code.
      Enter License number and Validation code.
    3. License information is displayed. Please confirm the content and press [Register License] button.
    4. License registration is completed and e-mail is sent to you.
    5. Open the e-mail you received from us. Access the URL described in the e-mail to download your license key file.
    6. Launch JUDE/Share and log in as JUDE/Share Administrator, then click [Managemet] icon on header, press [License Management] Tab, specify your licensekey file.

JUDE/Share Support Service, Support Renewal License

  1. Do you provide support for JUDE/Share?

    Yes. We provide support to customers during the support period.
    If you purchase JUDE/Share Server License, one-year support will come with it. After your support expires, you can keep receiving support by extending support period with Support Renewal License ($ 350).
  2. What kind of support can we receive during support period?

    We provide following supports to customers during the support period.
    • Updates to the latest version including new features and bug fixes. (Upgrade fee may be required for major upgrades.)
    • Q&A Services
      You will get a prompt response to your inquiry or technical questions by submitting through Product Support Forum.

  3. How can I extend my support period?

    By purchasing a Support Renewal License from our distributor. You will receive new license number and validation code after purchase, by simply registering them on ChangeVision Members site, it will provide you an additional year of support. Please see [How do I register a support renewal license?] for more details.
  4. How much does it cost to extend my support period?

    $ 350.00 for one year extension. You need to purchase a support renewal license ($ 350.00) to extend your license. One support renewal license provides one additional year of support.
  5. What happens when my support period expires?

    You are able to continue to use JUDE/Share, however you won't be able to upgrade to the newer version and you are no longer eligible to receive technical support.
  6. How does Support Renewal License apply?

    By registering a Support Renewal License, your support period will be extended for additional one year from the date when the former support period expired (Case 1) or the date when your current support period expires (Case 2).

  7. How do I register Support Renewal License?

    • Support extension needs to be processed in account where your former license is registered. So do not create new account when your information such as your e-mail address has been changed. You need to login to ChangeVision Members with your old e-mail address then change your information before you register Support Renewal License.
    • You must purchase a Support Renewal License to get an extension.
    • See FAQ 6 to see how a Support Renewal License applies.

    1. Please have a license number and Validation code of Support Renewal License ready. (You can get them from distributor where you purchased Support Renewal License.)
    2. Login to ChangeVision Members then click on [License Management]. (If your e-mail address has been changed, log in with your old e-mail address then change it to a new one from [Change Settings])
    3. Select target license to extend the support period and go to next step.
    4. Enter your License number and validation code.
    5. License registration is completed and e-mail is sent to you.
    6. Open the e-mail you received from us. Access the URL described in the e-mail to download your license key file.
    7. Launch JUDE/Share and log in as JUDE/Share Administrator, then click [Managemet] icon on header, press [License Management] Tab, then set up the new licensekey file.
  8. My support has been expired for more than a year. Can I still renew my support period?

    Yes. You can renew your license by registering Support Renewal License. One support renewal license provides one additional year of support. By simply registering licenses as many as you need, you can extend your support period to the present. (e.g. If your support expired one year and half ago, register two support renewal licenses.) It is cheaper to get an extension with Support Renewal license rather than repurchasing another Server License within 3 years of the initial purchase.

License

  1. Will an installation CD be provided?

    No. JUDE is provided by download via the Internet only and no installation CD will be provided.
  2. What happens if I resign membership of ChangeVision Members?

    If you resign from ChangeVision Members service, your account and license information will be cleared completely and they cannot be restored. You can continue to use JUDE with your license however you will not be able to...
    • receive Technical Support
    • extend support period with support renewal license
    • reissue your license key
    • receive promotions, discounts..etc
    • any other benefit we may offer in the future
    If support period of your license is still valid, you can sign up to ChangeVision Members and register your license again.
  3. Can I use JUDE/Share Free edition for commercial projects?

    Yes, you can use JUDE/Share Free edition for commercial projects as long as you accept END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT. However, it is recommended to use astah* share or JUDE/Share with purchased license which includes customer support.
  4. Can I transfer my license to someone else and how?

    The transfer of JUDE/Share Server license (Support license) is allowed under the following conditions:
    • Support period of the license must be valid
    • The license is possessed by the cooperation.
    • New user who receives the license is within the same corporation
    If it is under the right conditions, please request the permission of the license transfer via email including following information.
    • License Information :
      License Number, Validation Code. (Lost your Validation code? please check here)
    • Contact Information about current user :
      User Name, Email address, Cooperation Name, Department, Postal Code, Address, Phone number
    • Contact Information about new user :
      User Name, Email address, Cooperation Name, Department, Postal Code, Address, Phone number
    • Purpose of transferring :
      Retirement of the current user, Employee movement, Project Concluded, Project transfer or others (Specify why)
    [NOTE]
    • A new license key will be issued for new user when transferring the license. The old license key must be discarded completely.
    • Your request will be refused if provided license number and validation code do not match.
    • Support period will be taken over to new user as well when transferring the license.
  5. I lost the Validation Code. Where could I find it?

    If you have already registered the license, you can find the Validation Code on ChangeVision Members site.
    1. Login to ChangeVision Members.
    2. Press down [License Management] button. Your license information will be listed up
    * Validation Code cannot be found in any e-mails you have received from us or in License Key files.
    * Please contact distributor if you have not registered the license yet.
  6. I lost my license key file (.xml). How can I reissue it?

    You can reissue your license key file by following this procedure.
    1. Login to ChangeVision Members.
    2. Click on [License Management] button.
    3. Select target license and click on [Reissue this licensekey] button.
    4. License information is displayed. Please confirm the content and press [Reissue this licenseky] button.
  7. How can I see information of my license (License Type and support period)?

    1. Login to ChangeVision Members and click on [License Management] button.
    2. Your license information will be shown in a list.
  8. How can I change the server machine to use JUDE/Share?

    You can change the server machine to use JUDE/Share as it shows in [End-User License Agreement].
    1. Make a backup data of JUDE/Share data from the current server machine.
    2. Uninstall JUDE/Share completely from the current server machine.
    3. Install JUDE/Share on new server machine.
    4. Transfer your license key file (JUDE_License_Machine_Share.xml) and the backup data you made at step i to new server machine.
    5. Log in to JUDE/Share and set up the license from License management dialog.

  1. I forgot my password to log into ChangeVision Members. Can I reissue it?

    Yes, you can reissue your password.
    1. Access to ChangeVision Members Service Top Page.
    2. Select [Reissue Password] from left menu.
  2. Where can I find information for particular version of JUDE such as what's new in it and fixed bugs..etc?

    Please read the Release Note. It tells what enhancements and improvements have been done and list of fixed bugs for each version. To read the Release note, click on the version number in Update Information page.
  3. Where can I find a log file that I attach when I send a bug report?

    There are two log files of JUDE/Share and both are exported in the [%JUDE_Share_|server\logs] on the server machine.
    • Cataline.{date}.log
    • jude.share.log
    Please attach these two log files and provide us the information below when you send us a bug report.
    • Product name and version (You can see the version on the header of JUDE/Share screen)
    • Runtime environment (Type of web browser and its version, type of operating system and its version)
    • What you were doing when you encountered an error
    • Step to reproduce this error (In case this error can be reproduced anytime with certain operation)
